Many factors contribute to optimizing the benefits of massage. Our pets are very tuned in to their surroundings, therefore, massage sessions are performed at your home. If you feel your pet would prefer another location, alternative arrangements can be discussed. Due to their sensitive nature, the length of massage may vary from session to session based on their needs and comfort level at that time. Typically, a massage will last anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour. It is recommended that two or more sessions be done in quick succession to acclimate your pet to the intent of massage and that you consult your veterinarian before massage is performed. It is also recommended that you schedule your dogs' sessions for the same time of day and not near a mealtime. Initially, your dog may benefit from your presence during the massage, however, over time she/he may become more comfortable in your absence. Each massage is $55 a session. If for any reason your pet is unable to complete a full session, an abbreviated fee of $45 may apply.
Massage is not intended as a substitute for veterinary care.
